NCTAMS EURCENT's mission is to provide command, control, communications, computers and telephone services for CINCUSNAVEUR, COMUSNAVCENT, COMSIXTHFLT, COMFIFTHFLT, and numerous Joint and NATO commands responsible for sustained combat operations in the Mediterranean and Southwest Asia area of operations. NCTAMS EURCENT also serves as Regional Commander for NAVCOMSTAs in Bahrain and Sigonella, Sicily, as well as detachments in London, England; Rota, Spain; and Souda Bay, Greece.

SALTS aboard a ship or at a shore site accumulates data from various sources within the activity (i.e., requisitions from the SNAP system, payroll data, from UMIDS, and messages from MTF).
